Operation of the Model Helicopter

a) Charging the Flight Battery
The flight battery (see figure 4, item 1) can be charged
either with the USB charging socket of the transmitter
(see figure 1, item 5), via a USB socket at a computer/
notebook or at a commercial USB plug-in charger. In
any case, the enclosed USB charging cable must be
used for this (see figure 4, item 2).
Connect the flight battery (1) with the connector protec-
ted against polarity reversal of the USB charging cable
(3). Work with the required care and do not apply any
unnecessary force. Then connect the USB plug of the
charging cable (4) to the transmitter according to the
lower illustration in figure 4.
For photo-technical reasons, the USB charging cable
is illustrated in the wound-up state in figure 4. Before
first use, the cable retainer should be opened and the
cable unwound.
Turn on the transmitter with the on/off switch (see figure
1, item 6).
The LED display at the transmitter (also see figure 1,
item 10) is lit red first and starts flashing green after
approx. 3 seconds. The charging display in the USB
plug (5) of the charging cable remains lit red. The light
battery is now being charged.
When charging is completed, the LED display at the
transmitter remains lit green and the charge indicator in
the USB plug of the charging cable goes out.
Disconnect the rechargeable battery (1) from the char-
ging cable (2) right away then and pull the USB plug (4)
from the USB charging socket of the transmitter. Then
switch off the transmitter again.
If the flight battery is connected to a computer or a USB
plug-in charger for charging, only the charging control
display in the USB plug of the charging cable (see fi-
gures 4 and 5, each item 5) is used to visually display
charging. If the LED display goes out, charging has
been completed and the flight battery must be discon-
nected from the charging cable and the charging cable
from the computer or the USB plug-in charger.
