Manner of delivery

The PRACTIC HC bed has two configuration options. A mattress frame is available with or
without an optional motorized knee bend.
 Undercarriage with motor LA27
 Slatted frame, foot-end with Rastomat
 Slatted frame, headrest incl. transformer CB6 and
motor LA27
 Wooden blind (head and foot-end) (965)
 Wooden side railings
 Handset HB7x
 Allen key (for assembly) (with 965)

The nursing bed may only be used with the parts listed here. Should components not be
installed or equipment, components, or electrical equipment from third parties be installed
then the bed shall no longer be considered the bed delivered by the manufacturer. In such a
case the use of the bed is then at one's own risk. Then the CE conformity and the
manufacturer warranty shall no longer apply.

Assembly

CAUTION:
Chance of pinching - Do not place fingers between the components of
the bed.

Risk of clamping - Keep fingers away from moving parts of the bed.

CAUTION:
Risk of injury - No third persons or any objects may come in the
assembly area.
You should obey the assembly instructions of your nursing bed as explained below.
3.3.1 Undercarriage
1. Place the undercarriage along with the rolling castors on a flat non-porous surface.
Block the four castors by activating their brakes (note also the "Steering Castor"
chapter).
2. Insert the shears with the bearings in the c-profile and pin them securely on the other
side.
3. Secure the motor with the locking pins.
