These protectors are for class 1 - for the normal roller skate sport. They are not suita-
ble for acrobatic roller skate sport, which refers to class 2 protectors.
The size classes are just for orientation. If the protectors do not sit firmly and comfor-
tably another size should be chosen.
The biomechanical protectors were developed from leading orthopaedists. Tests have
shown that in comparison to normal protectors, the risk of injury can be reduced with
these protection guards.
The anatomically formed shells (PE) offer a great fit, high wearing comfort and keep
joints in their correct position. The tough shell and padding (EVA) minimise shock
during a gall and prevent rubbing and nicks. The major materials are nylon, polypro-
pylene and Lycra.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before each use, especially after a fall or accident, check the protectors for damage.
The protectors should be replaced if the shell shows denting, cracking or deep scrat-
ches, if they are deformed or if any parts have broken. Never change anything on your
protection set – it could have an influence on your safety. Do not make any structural
changes.
Even under the correct use, you protectors cannot guarantee you 100% protection
against injury. Always carry out your sport carefully.
Remember never to skate without your protectors and a helmet.
PALM PROTECTORS (FIG. 1)
Palm protectors help to protect your wrist during a fall. The support under the hand
helps to cushion the fall. The bio-dynamic protector holds the hand in its safest po-
sition – "the hammer grip" to minimise wrist fractures. The shape helps to minimise
grazes on the fingers and helps you to glide during a fall.
ELBOW PADS (FIG. 2)
Elbow pads help you glide along the asphalt when falling, so that the fall is cushioned.
These protectors have a tough outer shell and soft padding on the inside.

KNEE PROTECTORS (FIG. 3)
Knee protectors also help you glide along the asphalt and cushion the fall. Just like
the elbow pads, the knee pads have a plastic cap which is tough and soft cushioning
on the inside.
HOW TO PUT ON YOUR PROTECTORS
Palm protectors:
Open the hook and loop fastening and insert your thumb into the hole, so that the palm
of your hand lies on the cushioned back of the shell. Now tighten up the straps and
fasten the hook and loop for a comfortable fit.
Knee and Elbow protectors:
Open the hook and loop fastenings and pull on the sock. Fix the straps and hook and
loop so that the protectors are secure.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Your protectors must fit correctly, so that they do not move during a fall. Make sure
everything is fixed firmly, but not too tightly. Take care not to risk cutting off your
M
blood circulation. The protectors should sit comfortably. Before you get moving make
sure that everything is positioned correctly. Always put on your protectors before you
step into your skates. After skating you should take off the skates before you remove
your protectors.
