The outside diameter and the thickness of your
accessory must be within the capacity rating of your
power tool.
Do not use saw blades not corresponding to the key
data given in these instructions for use. Do not use
saw blades which are damaged or deformed Only use
saw blades which have been properly sharpened. It is
essential to adhere to the maximum speed specified
on the saw blade. Accessories running faster than
their rated speed can break and fly apart.
Do not use worn down wheels from larger power
tools.
Do not use accessories that require liquid coolants.
Using water or other liquid coolants may result in
electrocution or shock.
Transport and store the tools in a suitable receptacle;
Make sure to use only spacer discs and spindle rings
that are suitable for the purpose specified by the
manufacturer.
Never use the mitre saw to cut materials other than
those specified in the instruction manual. It is neces-
sary to select a saw blade which is suitable for the
material being cut.
The saw may only be used when the protective
equipment is functioning properly, in good condition
and in the correct position. Only use the saw with
guards in good working order and properly maintai-
ned, and in position. The protective cover should only
open when the machine is lowered to the workpiece.
It is strictly prohibited to disassemble, modify
and purposely remove the protective equipment
on the unit and fit other protective equipment
instead.
Refrain from removing any cut-offs or other parts
of the workpiece from the cutting area whilst the
machine is running and the saw head is not in the
rest position. Never reach into the danger area of the
machine when it is running.
After switching off, the machine will not be idle
immediately. (After-running of the cut-off wheel.)
Allow the cut-off wheel to come to a stop after
switching off.
Any faults with the machine, including any related to
the safeguard or the saw blades, must be reported to
the persons in charge of safety as soon as the faults
are discovered.
In the event of a blockage, switch off the machine
immediately. Pull out the mains plug and remove the
jammed workpiece.
If necessary, support long workpieces with suitable
additional bases.
The handle lock must always be engaged when
transporting the mitre saw.
Do not use protective equipment to transport or lift.

Mains Connection

Operation is only allowed with a safety
switch against stray current (RCD max. stray
current of 30mA).
Connect only to single-phase AC system voltage as
indicated on the rating plate. It is also possible to
connect to sockets without an earthing contact as the
design conforms to safety class II.
Only plug-in when machine is switched off.
EN 61000-3-11: Inrush currents cause short-time
voltage drops. Under unfavourable power supply
conditions, other equipment may be affected. If the
system impedance of the power supply is lower than
0,2 Ohm, disturbances are unlikely to occur.
Maintenance
Unplug the machine before any work on it.
Carry out a visual inspection before switching the
appliance on.
The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety
equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and
damaged parts.
Caution! If the power cord of the appliance gets
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its customer service or a similarly qualified person to
avoid danger.
Repairs and works specified in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualified authorised staff.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Be sure to disconnect the tool from the power supply
before attaching or removing the saw blade.
Replace the table insert when worn
The motor's fan will draw the dust inside the housing
and excessive accumulation of powdered metal may
cause electrical hazards.
Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all
times. Never spray water on the device body!
Use a soft brush.
Do not clean the plastics with solvents, flammable or
toxic fluids. For cleaning, use a damp cloth only.
Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient mainte-

injuries.
