11.1 Initial start-up

f Fill the appliance by running the tap until the pipework and
f
appliance are free of air. Open the draw-off valve several
times.
f Activate the electronic safety switch (AE3). On delivery, the
f
electronic safety switch is in the tripped position.
f Only for the DCE 11/13 | DCE 11/13 H: Insert the temperature
f
selector plug into the "set temperature" PCB. Note the align-
ment of the wires.
f Fit the appliance cover by positioning it and pressing against
f
it until the locking hooks at the top and bottom click into
place. Check that the locking hooks have clicked into place.
f Switch the mains electrical power ON.
f
f Only for the DCE 11/13 | DCE 11/13 H: Turn the temperature
f
selector to its left-hand and right-hand end-stop.
f Carry out a tightness check.
f
f Tick the selected connected load and rated voltage on the
f
type plate. Use a ballpoint pen to do this.
f Check the appliance function.

11.2 Appliance handover
f Explain the functions of the appliance to the user. Show the
