6.4 Installation versions
6.4.1 Installing additional sensor protection pipes
With the SBP 700, further sensor protection pipes can be installed.
For this installation, proceed as follows:

Observe the markings on the top and bottom of the cylinder
casing.
»
Saw with a hole cutter at the required marking on the cylinder
casing (recommended hole cutter Ø 70 mm).
»
Drill carefully through the cylinder casing into the thermal
insulation. The drilling depth is limited by the extent to which
the connector penetrates the insulation.
»
Remove the remaining insulation from around the connector.
»
Undo the cap and fit the sensor protection pipe.
6.4.2 Installing the BGC immersion heater
The immersion heater is used for electric booster heating.
— With the SBP 200 | 400 the immersion heater can be mounted
on the r.h. or l.h. side.
— One or two immersion heaters can be mounted with the
SBP 700.

Remove the cap from the connector.
»
Undo the vent plug with an SW 32 socket spanner.

7. Commissioning
7.1 commissioning
Commissioning must only be carried out by a heating
contractor.

Fill and vent the appliance.
»
Check the functions of the special accessories in accordance with
the operating and installation instructions supplied with them.
»
Check the function of the on-site safety valve.
7.2 Decommissioning
If the heating system is not in operation and the installation
location is not protected against frost, drain the appliance and
connected system. This is relevant where there is a risk of frost.
8. Maintenance
No special maintenance is required for the appliance. A regular
visual check is sufficient.
