11. Factory reset

This function allows to come back to the factory setting.
Warning : At the end of this procedure, all the parametes of your D70A will be reset (tolerances,
masters, formulas...)
Follow the steps :
1. Shut down the D70A
2. Start the D70A
3. When the splash screen appears, press on the Sylvac
logo
4. A desktop with 5 icons appear.
5. a – Press on « initialization »
6. b – Confirm YES or cancel NO
7 . – Press Home to come back to the mesuring screen

12. Firmware update

It is possible to update the D70A firmware.
The update require a cable RS232, réf 804.2201. It is possible to use a converter RS232/USB if
your computer is not equipped with a serial port.
If you don't have a RS232 cable, you can make your own by following this schematic :
