Installing the unit in the sunroof

➤ Set the unit down centrally aligned and in the direction of travel
(fig. 1, page 3) on the sunroof opening.
I
NOTE
Make sure the air conditioning roof unit is centred perfectly. The seal
must be applied continuously around the air conditioning roof unit after
being placed on the roof of the vehicle. This is the only way to ensure a
tight seal.
A
NOTICE!
The fastening holders must be positioned on a fixed surface, since the
unit will be pushed against the cab roof by the holder.
➤ Use the fastening holder to secure the air conditioning roof unit
(fig. 5, page 4 and fig. 6, page 5).
➤ Place one hex screw (fig. 5 4, page 4) with washer (fig. 5 3,
page 4) through each of the fixing holes of the fastening holder as dis-
played in fig. 5, page 4.
➤ Turn one M8 nut (fig. 5 1, page 4) on each of the hex screws until
nearly reaching the fastening holder (distance of approx. 10 mm).
➤ Screw the screws into the four threaded sockets intended for this
purpose on the underside of the unit.
A
NOTICE!
Do not exceed the specified torque under any circumstances. This is
necessary in order to avoid deforming the fastening holder. Ensure that
a high amount of contact pressure is achieved with little expenditure of
energy.
➤ Tighten the screws with a torque of 4 Nm.
➤ Now turn the M8 nuts (fig. 5 1, page 4) to tighten them against the
fastening holder.
