Transport and storage
Transport
The FPU can be transported without special
precautions. Damage must be avoided.
NOTICE
A damaged FPU must never be put into
operation.
Storage
The FPU can be stored in any position.
The FPU must be kept in a cool, dry place,
protected from direct sunlight.
This can be in its packaging or in a protective
case (if included with delivery).

Pre-charge pressures
When working with the FPU, take into account
the influence of the charging temperature on
the pre‑charge pressure. For values, see fold‑
out page, Table 2 I.
T
The reference temperature is the temperature
for which HYDAC specifies/calculates the
corresponding reference pre‑charge pressure
(p
T [C°] = accumulator temperature
The accumulator temperature is the surface
temperature measured on the gas side of the
hydraulic accumulator.
p
The reference pre‑charge pressure is the pre‑
charge pressure of the hydraulic accumulator
at 20 °C. It is specified on the hydraulic
accumulator (label on the accumulator shell,
stamped on the accumulator shell, engraved
on the name plate) – see hydraulic accumulator
operating instructions.
NOTICE
Always comply with limits given in Overview
