If the casualty is required to be lowered over short distances (e.g. to avoid obstacles in the lifting
path), the handle should be rotated anti-clockwise. There is no audible click when lowering.
NOTE: Ensure the lifeline remains taught throughout operation to avoid shock loads being
applied to the casualty. The retrieval mode does not include an energy absorption function.
