- 2 spacers (Ref. B) are usually needed for the 9 speed
cassette (Pic. 14), 1 spacer for the 10 speed cassette (Pic.
15) and no spacer is required for the 11 speed cassette
(Pic. 16). Depending on the cassette brand you are using
there might be some differences with the aforementioned
general data.
ATTENTION!
Strictly follow the instructions provided by the cassette
manufacturer with regard to specific installation
techniques, the need for additional spacers and torque
specifications.
NOTE: Please contact your dealer if you have questions
about installation or if you cannot install the cassette. The
warranty does not cover any damage to the bicycle and/or
Drivo II in the event of incorrect installation.
26_MAINTENANCE
Drivo II does not require any specific scheduled
maintenance, however the following precautions are
recommended:
- wipe the trainer clean with a cloth after each training
session to prevent the accumulation of dust and sweat;
- Do not clean or degrease the bicycle chain while the bike
is mounted on Drivo II as solvents can cause irreparable
damage to the bearings or other internal mechanical parts;
- Check that the quick release is properly secured and fully
working before every training session.
WARNING: The tension of the internal transmission belt is
tested on every product by Elite's assembly department;
do not alter belt tension as the power sensor must be
recalibrated with every variation in belt tension.
- The belt tension may lessen after multiple uses or
after particularly intensive training sessions, and as a
consequence, the accuracy of the transmission of the
user power output may reduced. If that's the case, you
might need to increase the transmission belt tension by
the following method:
1) Remove the motherboard cover (Pic. 35).
2) loosen the adjustment locking screw by one full turn, so
that you can then turn the adjusting nut (Pic. 36).
3) Turn the adjusting nut half a turn to tighten the belt
correctly (Pic. 37).
4) Begin the calibration procedure as indicated in
paragraph on page 41.
5) Repeat the previous operation if data transmission still
not correct.
6) Once calibration is done replace the motherboard cover
(Pic. 38).
WARNING!: Make sure the re-tensioning procedure has
been pre-approved by Elite's tech assistance department
52
before re-tensioning the belt (Pic. 39). Breaking the anti-
tampering seal invalidates the product's warranty.

compliance with EU laws (see "Declaration of conformity",

28_PACKAGING
If the roller needs to be shipped, careful packaging is
critical:
- remove the charger cable from the Drivo II;
- put the cable in a humidity-free container;
- pack up the Drivo II in its original box.
Concerning shipments, packages often undergo strong
shocks and bumps, so any non-original packaging might
irreparably damage the home trainer. Such damages are
not covered by the warranty.
Note: before shipping the home trainer or any of its
components to customer service, constult Elite or its
distributor or your own retailer.
