SEV 05 ATEX 0140

Storage and transportation
- Store and transport product in a clean, dry place
- Store and transport at temperatures between –55°C and +40°C
- Protect product from moisture, direct sunlight and mechanical damage
The metal part of the gland outside the junction box does not need to be
grounded if WAGO CAGE CLAMP terminals (series 283, 284 or 285) are used
and the maximum strip length of the cables are respected.
nVent requires the use of a 30 mA residual current device to provide maximum
safety and protection from fire. Where design results in a higher leakage
current, a maximum 300 mA residual current device may be used. All safety
aspects need to be proven.
WARNING: To prevent electrical shock, short circuit or arcing, this product
must be installed correctly and water ingress must be avoided before and during
the installation.Recommended maintenance is a visual inspection at least every
3 years. Only replace broken parts by appropriate original spare parts.
Before installing this product, read these instructions completely and
thoroughly follow all steps!
PI series heating cables can be directly terminated into the junction box
(no cold lead required). The following conditions must be respected to comply
with approval requirements:
