General

Under normal operating conditions, the device only requires a minimum of care and main-
tenance. However, it is vital to carry out the procedures described below to ensure it re-
mains in a usable condition for many years.
Before each start- -

Every 6 months or each time the grinding disc is changed

Disposal

Dispose of in accordance with the applicable national and local regulations.

WARNING! Incorrect operation may result in serious injury or damage. Do not

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Before opening the device:
- Move the device mains switch to the - O - position
- Unplug the device from the mains
- Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertently
switching it back on again
Visually inspect the moving parts
Check the grinding fluid level
Change the grinding fluid
Thoroughly clean the device
Check the condition of the grinding disc
Check the condition of the cutting wheel
