Setting the number of rings (answering delay)
You can select from 2 to 9 ringing tones or the Tollsaver setting for
pre−remote access free of charge. The toll−saving, pre−remote
access feature can be used to check whether new messages have
been received on your answering machine from a distant tele-
phone.

If your call is taken after 2 rings, there are new messages on
the answering machine.

If no new messages have been recorded, the call is taken after
5 rings. Therefore, replace the receiver before the 5th ring. This
means that no charges ensue.

You can listen to an incoming call without actually taking the call.

Taking a call being recorded
It is possible to take a call even if the answering machine has al-
ready begun to take it. Recording of the message is stopped in this
case.
