c) Connection
The connection can only be performed when the current/power is switched
off.
Only 12 - 24 V DC/AC power supplies may be used. Never attempt to operate
the code lock with other voltages.
The inputs and outputs of the code lock and of the connected cables must be
protected against accidental touching.
The cables must have adequate insulation and the contact points must be
protected against accidental touching.
Be sure to use the correct polarity (+)/(-) when connecting DC voltages. This
is not relevant in the case of AC voltages.
Failure to follow these instructions voids the warranty.
Note that incorrectly connecting cables could destroy the device.
•
The LEDs at the remote part accord to the outputs.
•
LED "DOOR" illuminates when output is active and green "OUTPUT 1".
•
LED "ALARM" illuminates when output is active and red "OUTPUT 2".
•
LED "AUX" illuminates when output is active and green "OUTPUT 3".
Always observe the correct polarity for direct voltage. If required, check it with a meter
before connection.
The connection plug allows you to connect other optional devices (magnetic contact,
door opener etc.).
When making connections to the device, ensure that the voltage and current
specifications listed in the following table are not exceeded.
