All ZEISS riflescopes of the ZEISS VICTORY and Classic series (excluding ZEISS VICTORY FL Diavari
4-16x50, 6-24x56 and 6-24x72) can be equipped and retrofitted with an ASV+. Equipping or
retrofitting is done at the factory.
Aligning the weapon with ASV+ / ASV LongRange:
If the weapon shoots low, it requires an upward shot correction (direction "H"), corresponding to
turning the adjustment knob (1) clockwise. If the weapon shoots high, it requires a downward shot
correction, corresponding to turning the adjustment knob (1) counterclockwise.
Note: A stop in the ASV+ / ASV LongRange prevents adjustment downward past the "0" mark. To
make a shot correction downward past the zero mark, proceed as follows: Unscrew screw (6),
remove cap (7) with spring (9).
Caution: The cover is under spring pressure.
– Remove adjustment knob (10).
– Lift tappet (11) out of the lock mechanism, turn clockwise and push in. A downward correction is
now again possible and can be made directly with the tappet (11) . After the weapon has been
zeroed at 100 m,
– Lift tappet (11) from the lock mechanism and push in so that the stop pin (15) of the tappet (11)
lies on the stop pin (12) of the locking ring (13), as shown in Fig. 5.
– Set the adjustment knob (10) so that the "0" mark aligns with the index mark on the locking ring
(13). Make sure that the O-ring (14) is not damaged. Insert spring (9), install cap (7) and make
sure that the O-ring (8) is not damaged.
– Use the screw (6) to retighten the cap (7).
Now the selected ballistic ring (4) can be aligned to the zero mark of the locking ring (13). To do
this, simply loosen the retaining ring (2) until the ballistic ring (4) can be moved. Now align the
index line on the ballistic ring, below the 1, to the zero mark of the locking ring (13). Then hand
tighten the retaining ring (2) and your ASV+ / ASV LongRange is ready for operation.
