6.2 (Optional) Privacy Flap (Sold Separately)
Privacy Flaps are available (sold separately) for use with all standard sized
MX2 backs. All standard sized backs come with a pre-sewn loop strip across
the bottom rear of the cushion cover for installation of the privacy flap.
Refer to the chart for proper sizing of the Privacy Flap for the MX2 back:.
Installation Instructions:
1. Remove the wheelchair seat cushion (if installed).
2. Ensure the back is adjusted to the desired height. (Refer to S S ection 4.0,
Figure 8.)
3. Standing behind the wheelchair (and facing the front); Align/attach the
hook strip on the privacy flap onto the loop strip sewn into the bottom rear
of the MX2 back cover (A). (see Step 1 below).
4. Pull the opposite (unattached) end of the privacy flap through the gap
between the lower back shell and the wheelchair seat.
5. Secure the loop strip on the privacy flap to the pre-existing Velcro strip* * (B)
on the wheelchair sling seat or seat pan. (see Step 2 below).
*NOTE: If the wheelchair seat has a matching loop strip installed, secure
the Privacy Flap using the double hook adapter strip (C) provided.
