Quick Release Mounting Bracket Installation

The quick-release
brackets/hardware can be loosely
assembled onto the MX2 Back
shell in order to assist with
bracket alignment (width/height)
during installation onto the MX2
mounting plates.
4.4 Pre-Installation: MX2 Cane Clamp Orientation
IMPORTANT! Prior to Installing the MX2 Cane Clamp Assemblies, the
orientation of the clamps must first be determined.
WARNING! Risk of Serious Injury
When determining the final mounting position for the Invacare ® Matrx ®
MX2 back, ensure the stability of the wheelchair is not compromised.
Adjusting the fore and aft position of the backrest will alter the user's center
of gravity within the wheelchair. A recessed back position can significantly
reduce the rearward stability of the wheelchair. Similarly, a more forward
back position will reduce the wheelchair's forward stability.
