Advice. We recommend to use only holders mounted in
T-groove (with T-bolt). Using a metal U-shape sleeve for
fitting might damage the surface treatment of the carry-
ing profiles of the crossbar carrier.

Loading - space for opening the car trunk lid
Attention. If you transport a ski box or any other load,
open the trunk door very carefully not to damage the car.
If the car is equipped with automatic trunk opening, we
recommend also to adjust the angle of opening (see the
Operating Instructions of the car).
Mounting of crossbar carrier
When mounting the crossbar carrier follow the pictures and
fitting instructions. Make sure you proceed in the same
way to mount all the flanges of the crossbar carrier!

- Complete set of crossbar carrier package (hereinafter re-
ferred to as carrier only).
- In case of need, these spare parts can be ordered from
the Škoda genuine spare parts catalogue.
- Large cover without lock (1 pc)
- Set of screws (4 pcs)
- Set of locks (4 pcs) and keys (2 pcs)

- Screw all screws (B) in relevant holes in the longitudinal
carrier of the car. Tighten the screws with tightening torque
of 4 Nm.
- Considering the necessity of keeping the right torque
(using the torque wrench), Škoda Auto recommends to
have this operation done in an authorized service.
- Advice. For safety reasons the screws in the longitudi-
nal carrier of the car can be mounted (dismantled) re-
peatedly, three times as the maximum.
