Pump with three-phase current motor: the pump must be
connected to the control box.
For the three-phase current connection (DM) the leads of the free
cable end are to be assigned as follows:

- The free cable end is to be wired up in the switch box (see switch
box Installation and Operating Instructions).
5. SARTING-UP
CAUTION !
The pump must never be operate dry.
- Pumps with less than 10 m of connection cable should be used
(according to standard IN 60335) inside buildings, and cannot be
used out of doors without altering the length of the cable.
- The pump should be installed in a frost-free place.
- Before commissioning the pump, carefully clean the sump and the
pipework.
- Ensure that the pipes are connected correctly.
- Fill the sump with water and open the stopcock of each pump
(permanently-installed pumps).
- Check that the floats move freely.
- Ensure that the levels are correctly adjusted: on, off, alarm.
- Switch on the power.
Check that the current input is less than or equal to that indicated
on the motor data plate.
Note : When using twinned single-phase pumps: fix the pump's float
switch in the "on" position and use the switches on the mains box.
The water level must not fall below the pump's minimum immersion
depth. The level control should be adjusted to ensure this
(See FIG. 2).
6. MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out work on the pump, unplug it from the
mains and check that there is no risk of electric shock.
If carrying out repairs to the pump, wash it carefully with
clean water before touching it.
Take the risk of infection seriously.
When carrying out maintenance, you must wear protective
gloves to prevent any danger of infection.
6.1 Servicing
The unit will operate without supervision. However, given the nature
of the liquid being pumped, we advise servicing and draining the
pump at least once per year. It is recommended that you check
the condition of the bearings and the mechanical seal: change
them if necessary.
- Check the Impeller for wear.
- Ensure that the axle turns freely and without undue noise.
- Empty the oil into a transparent container and check that there
are no water or impurities in it.
How to drain:
- Unscrew Oil drain plug with seal (See FIG. 1 - item 21).
- Cant the pump until the oil gets out (use a suitable collecting basin
and dispose the oil correctly).
- Fill in new oil (see connection and electrical data).
- Screw in Oil drain plug with seal.
Analyze of factory
a) If the oil is clean :
the lower mechanical seal in good condition.
b) If the oil contains water :
Check the gasket and seal.
