- Lift or lower a load without having an
uninterrupted view of the entire path.
- Apply any lateral pulling action on the
load.
- Drag a load along the ground.
- Allow the load to swing under the winch.
- Take position or circulate under the load.
- Use any wire rope other than the caRol™
wire rope.
- Use a caRol™ wire rope which is in poor
condition.
- Use the caRol™ wire rope as a sling.
- Allow a tensioned caRol™ wire rope or
a load to rub against an obstacle.
- Use hooks which are in poor condition.
- Perform any modification to the system
which is not described in this manual.
- Fully unwind the drum (always keep 2 or
3 coils on the drum when wire rope is fully
extended).
- Release the wire rope drum when the
system is loaded.
- Use any other crank other than the
original crank.
- Use parts or components other than
genuine manufacturer's
components.
- Secure the winch by its carrying handle.
