Description
The Dräger FPS 7000 RP consists of facepiece body with head
harness or hairnet.
All Dräger FPS 7000 RP have a wiper.
One Dräger FPS 7000 RP model is equipped with a drinking valve. A
drinking tube can be used to connect a CamelBak
the Dräger FPS 7000 RP. However, the CamelBak
neither suitable nor approved for use during firefighting.
Special facepiece spectacles are available for users who wear
spectacles.
The temperature range for donning the facepiece is between +5 °F
and +140 °F (-15 °C to +60 °C). The temperature range for use during
operation is between -22 °F and +140 °F (-30 °C to +60 °C). Lower or
higher temperatures are permitted when the exposure time is short.
Intended use
The Dräger FPS 7000 RP protects the face and the eyes against
aggressive media. It must only be used with NIOSH-approved self-
contained breathing apparatus.
Approvals
The facepiece in combination with Dräger PSS BG 4 plus has been
certified by NIOSH in compliance with title 42, Code of Federal
Regulations, Part 84. Only combinations that are approved by NIOSH
may be used in the USA (see Approval Label in the Instructions for
Use of the self-contained breathing apparatus).
Furthermore, the facepieces are approved according to
