Sparks are produced by cutting metals. Look out for
nobody being at risk. No flammable materials should be
situated in adjacent area (the reach of sparks).
The disc jam results in the machine jerky response. If that is
the case, switch the machine off immediately.
Do not ram the disc in the work piece and do not put
excessive pressure on the machine. Avoid possible jam
of the disc when working in corners, sharp edges etc. If
the disc gets damaged in result of incorrect use, stress
cracking may form, which results in the disc crack
without any warning.
Prevent the motor overloading, particularly when working
large pieces. Hold the handgrip with a light pressure only
when cutting. Mind the size of the cutting disc. The hole
diameter should correspond to the machine spindle without
any free travel. Do not use any adapters and transition
pieces.
The appliance meets EN 61000-3-11 requirements and is
subject to special connection conditions. That means that use
on optionally selected connection points is inadmissible.
The appliance can lead to occasional voltage fluctuations
under unfavourable power conditions.
The appliance is only designated to be used for connection
points not exceeding the maximum allowed impedance of
Z
= 0,233 Ω.
max
As a user, you must make sure your connection point on
which you want to use the appliance meets the above-
mentioned requirements – after agreement with your
electricity supplier if necessary.
Caution!
After the machine is switched off, the cutting disc will
still be running out.
The spindle lock should not be touched until the disc
stops completely.
The cutting disc and the piece to be cut are very hot
when operation is going on. Do not touch them before
they cool down.
The manufacture is unable to guarantee the perfect
function of the machine unless the genuine spares are
used for the machine.
Emergency Action
Apply the first aid adequate to the injury and get qualified medical
assistance as quickly as possible. Protect the injured person from
more accidents and calm him/her down.
For the sake of eventual accident, in accordance with DIN
13164, a workplace has to be fitted with a first-aid kit. It is
essential to replace any used material in the first-aid kit
immediately after it has been used. If you seek help, state the
following pieces of information:
1. Accident site
2. Accident type
3. Number of injured persons
4. Injury type(s)
Disposal
Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of pictograms on
the device or packaging. Description of the pictograms is given in
"Identification" chapter.
Disposal of transport packaging
Packaging protects the device against damage during transport.
Packaging materials are usually selected according to their effect
on environment and disposal methods and can therefore be
recycled. Returning of the packaging back to circulation saves
resources and costs for packaging disposal.
Parts of the packaging (e.g. foil, styropor) may be dangerous for
children. Risk of suffocation! Keep these parts of the packaging
out of reach of children and dispose as soon as possible.
