Removing and Replacing Fan Filter

This controller has an internal fan that is protected by a dust filter over the vent. To remove the fan
filter for replacement or cleaning, proceed with the following steps:
The fan filter is located on the bottom of the SD controller. Pry up the rivets holding the filter in

place and squeeze the shank to remove, as shown in Figure 11.
If cleaning the fan filter, proceed as appropriate based on materials in contact with the filter.

Avoid use of harsh scrubbers or brushes that could damage the mesh.
Ensure mesh is intact and dry before installing onto the SD controller.

Replace fan filter over vent and fix in place with the supplied rivets.
4.
Verify fan filter is securely attached before returning the SD controller to its upright position.

Troubleshooting

The controller microprocessor detects and indicates system faults. The display will show the error
number. The following tables summarizes causes and suggested corrective actions. The system
cannot be operated until the fault is corrected.
