PRESSER FOOT LIFTER

➀ When sewing, lower the presser foot
lifter to lower the presser foot.
➁ When inserting fabric, lift up the presser
foot lifter to raise the presser foot.
➂ When inserting very thick fabric under
the presser foot, the lift height can be
increased by holding the presser foot
lever at this position.
STITCH WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
DIAL
Set the stitch width and stitch length
to the recommended number
displayed on the sewing advisor
LCD.
1.The zigzag width can be altered
by turning the stitch width
adjustment dial.
2.For small zigzag stitches, turn the
dial to a smaller number. For wide
zigzag stitches, turn the dial to a
larger number.
3.When the dial is set at "0", the
stitch will become a straight stitch.

STITCH LENGTH ADJUSTMENT DIAL

1.The stitch length can be altered by
turning the stitch length adjustment
dial.
2.For shorter stitches, turn the dial to
a smaller number.
For longer stitches, turn the dial to a
larger number.

BUTTON AND LEVERS

1.Sewing speed control
Sewing speed is adjusted by the sewing
speed control knob.
2.Reverse stitch lever
The machine will feed the fabric
backward and stitch slowly in
reverse while pressing down the
reverse stitch lever.
3.Needle up and down button
Press the button and the needle will
move to its lowest position. Press
again and the needle will move to
its highest position.
❈Instead of pressing the needle up and
down button, you can turn the
handwheel to adjust the needle height.
4.Start and stop button
Press the button to start sewing.
Press again to stop the machine.
❈You are able to use the foot controller
instead of the start/stop button.

Palanca del prensatelas

➀ Para empezar a coser, baje la palanca
para bajar el prensatelas.
➁ Para introducir la tela, levante la
palanca para subir el prensatelas.
➂ Para introducir tela gruesa debajo del
prensatelas, ajuste la altura de éste
manteniendo la palanca sujeta a la
altura adecuada.

Selector de anchura de puntada

1. La anchura del punto en zigzag puede
cambiarse girando el selector de
anchura de puntada.
2. Para obtener un zigzag estrecho, gire
el selector hacia un número más
pequeño. Para obtener un zigzag
ancho, gire el selector hacia un
número mayor.
3. Con el selector en la posición "0", se
obtiene una puntada recta.

Selector de longitud de puntada

Para seleccionar la anchura y la longitud
de la puntada, utilice el número
recomendado que aparece en la pantalla
LCD.
1. La longitud de la puntada puede
cambiarse girando el selector de
longitud de puntada.
2. Para hacer puntadas cortas, gire el
selector hacia un número más
pequeño.
Para hacer puntadas largas, gire el
selector hacia un número mayor.
Velocidad de la máquina
1. La velocidad de la máquina se ajusta
con el selector de velocidad.
2. Palanca de inversión de la puntada
Al bajar esta palanca, la máquina
introduce la tela en el sentido opuesto
y empieza a coser al revés a baja
velocidad.
3. Botón para subir y bajar la aguja
Pulse el botón para bajar la aguja al
máximo. Vuelva a pulsar el botón para
subir la aguja hasta su posición más
alta.
❈ También se puede ajustar la altura de
la aguja girando el volante.
4. Botón de arranque y parada
Pulse el botón para empezar a coser.
Vuelva a pulsar el botón para parar la
máquina.
❈ También puede utilizar el mando de
pedal en lugar del botón de arranque y
parada. (Consulte la página 17.)

Levier de pied-de-biche

➀ Pendant la couture, baissez le levier de
pied-de-biche pour baisser le pied-de-
biche.
➁ Lors de l'insertion du tissu, levez le
levier de pied-de-biche pour lever le
pied-de-biche.
➂ Lors de l'insertion d'un tissu trés épais
sous le pied-de-biche, vous pouvez
augmenter la hauteur de celui-ci en
maintenant le levier de pied-de-biche
dans cette position.
Sélecteur de largeur de point
1. Vous pouvez modifier la largeur du
point en zigzag en tournant le
sélecteur de largeur de point.
2. Pour la réduire, tournez le sélecteur
vers un chiffre plus petit. Pour
l'augmenter, tournez le sélecteur vers
un chiffre plus grand.
3. Lorsque le sélecteur est placé sur "0",
la machine produit un point droit.
Sélecteur de longueur de point
Sélectionnez la largeur et la longueur de
point en fonction des chiffres recommandés,
affichés sur l'écran LCD d'information.
1. Vous pouvez modifier la longueur du
point en tournant le sélecteur de
longueur de point.
2. Pour la réduire, tournez le sélecteur
vers un chiffre plus petit.
Pour l'augmenter, tournez le sélecteur
vers un chiffre plus grand.

Vitesse de couture

1. Vous pouvez régler la vitesse de
couture à l'aide du curseur de réglage
de la vitesse.
2. Levier de marche arriére
La machine déplace le tissu vers
l'arriere et coud lentement en marche
arrière tant que vous appuyez sur le
levier de marche arrierè.
3. Touche pour relever ou abaisser l'aiguille
Enfoncez la touche pour placer
l'aiguille dans sa position la plus
basse. Appuyez de nouveau sur la
touche pour placer l'aiguille dans sa
position la plus haute.
❈ Pour régler la hauteur de l'aiguille,
vous pouvez tourner le volant au lieu
d'utiliser cette touche.
4. Touche marche/arrêt
Appuyez sur cette touche pour com-
mencer à coudre.
Enfoncez-la de nouveau pour arrêter la
machine.
❈ Vous pouvez également utiliser la
pedale au lieu de la touche marche/
arrêt. (Voir page 17)
