CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (13:B)
The machine is equipped with a control for using
the cutting means with electrical cutting height
adjustment.
The switch allows the user to continuously
adjust the cutting height.
The cutting deck is connected to the con-
tact (13:C).
6.8
POWER TAKE-OFF (13:A)
A lever for engaging and disengaging the power
take-off for operating front-mounted accessories.
The PTO must never be engaged when
the front accessory lift is in the tran-
sport position. This will destroy the belt
drive.
Lever forward – PTO disengaged.
Lever back – PTO engaged.
6.9
TRANSMISSION ENGAGE/DISENGAGE
LEVER (14; 15)
A lever for disengaging the variable transmission.
2WD is equipped with a lever, con-
nected to the rear axle. See (14:A).
4WD is equipped with two levers,
connected to the rear axle (15:A)
and the front axle (15:B).
The engagement/release lever must
never be between the outer and inner
positions. This overheats and damages
the transmission.
The levers allow the user to move the machine
manually (pushing or pulling), without the engine
running.

(Translation of the Original Instructions)
The two positions are:
Transmission engaged (14:A1; 15:A1-B1) -
transmission engaged for normal operation.
Transmission disengaged (14:A2; 15:A2-B2) -
transmission disengaged. The machine can be
moved by hand.
The machine must not be towed over long distan-
ces or at high speeds. The transmission could get
damaged.
Do not activate the machine with the
transmission disengaged (lever in).
Risk of damage and oil leakage in the
front axle.
6.10 SEAT ADJUSTMENT (20)
The seat can be moved backwards and
forwards to suit the driver as indicated
below:
1. Slacken the knob (20:A) without using any
tools.
2. Move the seat to the desired position.
3. Retighten the knob (20:A) manually.
The knobs (20:A) and the seat (20:B)
will be damaged if tools are used.
The seat is equipped with a safety switch that is
connected to the machine's safety system.

6.12 QUICK-RELEASE SUPPORTS (16:C)
These support allows the user to swap
from one accessory to another quickly and
easily.
The quick-release supports allow the user to move
the cutting means quickly and easily between two
positions, i.e.:
• Normal position with the belt fully tensioned.
• Positioned 4 cm behind the normal position,
with the belt slackened, so that the cutting
means moves closer to the base of the
machine.
Being as the belt tensioner is released from the
belt, the quick-release supports simplify belt
and cutting means replacement, and also make
shifting to the washing position and service posi-
tions easier.
