4.1.2.2. Tilting the carriage to the V po-
sition
• Switch off the machine
• Hold the carriage with your left hand by the black
handle, so that your thumb is touching the bot-
tom round edge of the carriage.
• Pull the black lever on the right towards you so
that the carriage latches in.
• During the tilting motion you can let go of the
lever again. A side guard prevents you from acci-
dentally reaching underneath the carriage.
• Using your left hand, tilt the carriage to the V po-
sition until you hear the carriage latch in.
• You can now slice the product in the same way as
in the normal position (section 4)
4.1.2.3. Tilting the carriage to the normal
position
Tilt the carriage to the normal position in the reverse
order.
• Switch off the machine
• Hold the carriage with your left hand by the black
handle, so that your thumb is touching the bot-
tom round edge of the carriage.
• Pull the black lever on the right towards you so
that the carriage unlatches.
• Let go of the lever while you tilt the carriage.
• Using your left hand, tilt the carriage to the nor-
mal position until you hear the carriage latch in.
4.1.2.4. Attaching and detaching the
carriage
Attach and detach the carriage while it is in the til-
ted position. This makes it easier to clean.
Section 5 describes how to attach and detach the
carriage.
4.1.3. Version A3307 DS with carriage
with feed carriage
4.1.3.1. Using the carriage with feed
carriage
The carriage with feed carriage allows you to safely
fix and slicing goods, for example roulade meat.
It consists of the carriage itself and an additional
support with a spiked plate which can be
moved along the axis of the blade with the last slice
clamp arm.
The additional support can be easily removed to
slice other products and for cleaning.
The slicing process is described in section 4.2.
4.1.3.2. Attaching and detaching the
carriage
Take off the additional support of the carriage with
feed carriage as follows:
• Lift up the last slice clamp arm.
• Hold the support with both hands by the raised
edges and carefully lift it out.
To put on the support, the procedure is reversed:
• Lift up the last slice clamp arm in necessary.
