Transport / Installation

3.1. Transportation

The slicing machine weighs approx. 27 to 38 kg.
Use a suicarriage transport unit for longer transport
distances. Prior to transport set the cutting thickness
to below - 0 - by turning the adjusting knob to the
stop. Push the carriage right to the front and use
sticky tape to immovable.
3.2. Requirements on place of installa-
tion
The support has to meet the following require-
ments:
• sufficient stability, steadiness, level, horizontal
• sufficient height permitting upright standing du-
ring the cutting process
• space required according to the following list
• the dimensions listed are required for optimum
use

• Locate the machine in an area with little in-com-
pany movement
• do not place the machine in the vicinity of doors;
in the swivelling range of opening doors; in the
access area of a door

3.3. Connection

• Please check whether the local operating voltage
corresponds with the data rendered on the type-
plate. In case of deviations the
• machine must not be connected.
• Please check whether the mains fuse meets the

data rendered in chapter 2.2. In case of devia-
tions the machine must not be connected.
• Plug the mains plug into the socket provided.

3.4. Checking the machine

• Please check the safety equipment in keeping
with chapter 1.9.
• Please check whether the machine is operational
when switched on. Does the machine itself or the
support start creeping ? In the affirmative, ensure
a more solid support (see chapter 3.2).
3.5. Check the direction of blade rotation
Rotating blade! May sever fingers. Do not
reach into the running blade !
• Press the On button. The machine starts up.
• • Check the direction of blade rotation. The blade
must turn from the top downwards against the
product.

• Please check the safety equipment (chapter 1.9).
