4 - HOW TO PUT ON THE MASK (Fig. B)
The mask comes fully assembled (size M) and ready for use.
Proceed as follows to put on the mask.
Insert the tube assembly (c) in the tube strap (d).
Hold the main body (b) firmly in one hand, keeping the sidepieces
upwards. With the other hand, extend the stretch part of the main
body with the other hand (Fig. B1).
Place the main body (b) over your head and insert the nasal pillows
(a) into your nostrils (Fig. B2).
Adjust the tension of the rear strap (Fig. B3).
Adjust the tension of the top strap (Fig. B4).
Connect the mask to a CPAP or Bi-level appliance.
5 - HOW TO REMOVE THE MASK
To remove the mask, pull the nasal pillows (a) out of the nose and
lift the main body (b) off your head. You do not need to loosen the
buckles.
6 - HOW TO DISASSEMBLE THE MASK (Fig. C)
The mask comes fully assembled (size M) and ready for use.
When it needs to be cleaned, proceed as follows to disassemble it.
Remove the elbow from the main body (b) to disconnect the tube
assembly (c) from the mask (Fig. C1).
Remove the nasal pillows (a) from the main body (b) (Fig. C2).
7 - CLEANING OF THE MASK
The mask must be washed before each use, so it needs to be
disassembled (see 6 – HOW TO DISASSEMBLE THE MASK).
ENGLISH
DAILY CLEANING
Wash the nasal pillows (a), the tube assembly (c) and the plastic
part of the main body (b) in lukewarm water (about 30 °C) with mild
soap. Rinse thoroughly in water and allow to dry naturally.
WEEKLY CLEANING
Wash the nasal pillows (a), the tube assembly (c) and the main
body (b), including the fabric part, as instructed under daily
cleaning.
The whole mask can be cleaned in a washing machine at 30 °C,
but without spin-drying (delicate wash) up to 20 times.
8 - PRECAUTIONS
Do not clean the mask with solutions containing alcohol, aromatic
compounds, humidifiers, antibacterial agents or aromatic oils.
Such solutions would damage the product and reduce its life.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat may cause damage
to the mask.
If any visible damage is noted (cracks, tears, etc.), the damaged
part must be replaced.
Check carefully to make sure there are no soap deposits or foreign
bodies inside the mask.
Check regularly that the vents are not obstructed. Clean with a soft
brush if necessary.
9 - HOW TO REASSEMBLE THE MASK (Fig. D)
Insert the nasal pillows (a) in the slot in the main body (b). Make
sure the two reference points are aligned, then push the nasal
pillows as shown in the diagram (Fig. D1).
Insert the elbow of the tube assembly (c), in the slot in main body
(b) (Fig. D2).
If you wish, you can secure the tube (c) in the tube strap (d).
