Important!
Do not connect a telephone line to the peripheral unit drive circuit connector;
otherwise the printer and the telephone line may be damaged.
1 Plug one end of the modular cable
into the modular jack of the periph-
eral.
2 Remove the modular jack cover
from the back of the printer and plug
the other end of the modular cable
into the jack of the printer.
