Possible cause / solution
• Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close the ex-
haust air valve.
• Is the dust container too full? Empty the dust container.
• Are the fi lters or the device dirty? Clean the dust container, the
cyclone insert, the motor fi lters and the HEPA exhaust air fi lter.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction hose
clogged? Switch off the device, pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket and remove the blockage.
• Is the dust container not closed correctly and / or not (correct-
ly) inserted into the device? Close the lid or correct the fi t of
the dust container.
• Are the fi lters or the device dirty? Clean the dust container, the
cyclone insert, the motor fi lters and the HEPA exhaust air fi lter.
• The mains cable was not correctly wound up in the device.
Pull the mains cable out a little and press the
winding up the cable.
• Is the device being used for the fi rst time? A smell often devel-
ops when new devices are fi rst used. The smell should disap-
pear once the device has been used several times.
