Cleaning the HEPA Exhaust Air Filter
The HEPA exhaust air fi lter is located behind a protective grille on the back of the vacuum
cleaner.

4. Brush or wipe out the fi lter compartment if necessary.
5. Insert the HEPA exhaust air fi lter into the fi lter compartment.
6. Insert the exhaust air hatch into the fi lter compartment. You should feel and hear it
click into place.
Cleaning the Housing and Nozzles
•
Clean the housing with a slightly damp, soft cloth if necessary.
•
Regularly remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device
generates no
suction.
1. Press the catch (D) of the exhaust air hatch towards the
fi lter and take off the exhaust air hatch at the same time.
2. Remove the HEPA exhaust air fi lter.
3. Tap out the HEPA exhaust air fi lter. Brush off with a soft
brush if necessary.
IMPORTANT: Do not clean the HEPA exhaust air fi lter
with water!

For storage purposes, hook the fl oor nozzle into the holder
on the back of the device (see illustration) and collapse the
telescopic tube as far as possible.
•
Store the vacuum cleaner in a cool, dry indoor room out of
the reach of children and animals.
Possible cause / solution
•
Is the plug not inserted in the mains socket correctly? Cor-
rect the fi t of the mains plug.
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Has the fuse in the electrical distributor (fuse box) been trig-
gered? Reduce the number of devices in the circuit.
