2.9 Malfunction and remedy
Malfunction
The space heater ist connected up, but :
The heater does not start, when
the selector switch is set to heating
The space heater is connected up and
switched on:
The oil burner starts and
immediately indicates a
malfunction
or
the gas burner starts and
immediately indicates a
malfunction
Overheat thermostat switches off
Temperature controller continually
switches off
Signal lamp at control box is on
The space heater is connected up,
but :
The fan does not start, when the
selector switch is set to Ventilation
Version 400 V
The space heater is connected up,
but :
The fan does not start, when the
selector switch is set to Ventilation
The heater is connected at electric
supply but does not operate
Signal lamp at control box is on

Defective selector switch

Oil-/gasburner indicates a
malfunction

Overheat thermostat is locked

Air in fuel circuit

Reset oil-/gasburner if burner cuts
again, press reset button after 4 to
5 min.

Check screwed connections of fuel
circuit for leaks

Change filter element

Replace warm air thermostat

Check temperature controller

Check fan motor or capacitor or
replace it if necessary, eventual

belt drive.

Adjust fuel flow rate to given value.
d)
Clean or exchange recirculating air
grille, respectively air filter
