The fan will repeatedly start up in order to
remove residual heat from the space heater.
Attention
The fan must cool the combustion chamber
and heat exchanger.
Danger of over-heating!
Notice
Do not switch off electrical supply and master
switch until the space heater has cooled down.
Non-compliance invalidates the factory
guarantee.

2.6 Mounting

Mount the space heaters
• only on fire proof walls and according to
the relevant standards (equivalent to DIN
4794 part 5)
• Mount levelly
• The installation of the space heater must
comply with the building regulations and all
other applicable standards and legislation
and standards:
DVGW-TRGI 1986
DIN 4756 and TRF 1988
DVGW Standard G 600

2.6.1 Power connection

2.6.2 Roomthermostat

Do not mount in cold or warm air stream

2.6.3 Gas connection

The connection must be carried out in
accordance with the applicable technical regula-
tions.
Check gas supply and connection for leaks.
Adjust burner to local conditions.
Check electrical connection before setting into
use.

2.6.4 Oil connection

The connections are to be made by the burner
service.

2.6.5 Oil- or gas burner

Ventilation
The adjustment and setting into operation may
only be carried out by the after-sales service of
the respective burner manufacturer or an authori-
zed specialist firm.
The values given by the burner manufacturer
must be complied with.

2.6.6 Burner service

Kroll recommends taking out a service contract.

2.7 Burner

Please note the following points when you
choose the burner:
Additional technical regulations TRF 1988
are to be observed when installing space
heaters below ground level.
Notice
The electric connection of the machine must
be done by authorized personnel according to
DINEN 50 156-1(VDE0116-1:2005-3) and
DINEN 60 335-1(VDE0700-1). Pay attention to
correct running direction of the three-phase
AC-motors.
Set motor protector to correct value.
Notice
Connection and setting into operation must be
carried out by a qualified gas-fitter.
• the burner must be CE approved
• the burner control must have a prepurge
periode of at least 30 seconds
• the burner control must be phase sensitive
