The sander is rated at 230‐Volt power only. The sander
comes with a plug designed for use on a circuit with a
grounded outlet.
It is recommended that the sander be connected to a
dedicated 10 amp circuit with circuit breaker or fuse.
Local codes take precedence over recommendations.
8.0 Adjustments
General note:
Setup and adjustment work may only be carried out
after the machine is protected against accidental
starting by pulling the mains plug.
8.1 Vertical belt sanding
The following preparations must be made for vertical
belt sanding:
1.
Loosen the nut (63, Fig. 8‐1) and bring the belt
arm (G) in vertical position. Install the sanding
table. Set a 90 ° angle between the sanding
table and belt arm. Lock the belt arm in place by
tightening the nut (63).

Loosen 2 screws (92, Fig. 8‐2) and position the
cover plate (H) all the way down. Tighten the
screws again.

Set the work table in the exact 90 ° position to
the sanding belt (Fig. 8‐3).

8.2 Changing the sanding belt
Disconnect the machine from the power source (pull
mains plug).
Release the belt tension by moving the tension
handle (29, Fig. 8‐4).
