6.4 Mounting sanding disc plate
Push the sanding disc plate (C, Fig. 6‐3) onto the shaft
until the surface of the plate is almost flush with the
shaft end. The shaft end may not extend into the
sanding surface. Secure the plate with screw (68).
Mount the Velcro abrasive disc, press on firmly.

6.5 Mounting lower sanding disc guard
Attach the lower sanding disc guard (D, Fig. 6‐4) with
2 screws (89).

6.6 Mounting sanding belt cover
Attach the sanding belt cover (E, Fig. 6‐5) with screw
and washer (57, 58).

6.7 Mounting sanding table
Insert the support rod (69, Fig. 6‐6) into the base and
secure in place with screw (35). Slide the sanding
table (F) onto the support rod and clamp with screw.

6.8 Mounting to workbench
The sander should be bolted to a workbench or table
to avoid any tendency to creep or slide during
sanding operations. Use appropriate fasteners (not
provided) through the 2 holes in the machine base.
