KEEP WARM Function
The function automatically activates at the end of the cooking cycle and
keeps the dish warm at 160–175°F (70–80°С) for up to 24 hours. The
CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator is lit, timer counts KEEP WARM time.
Press and hold down CANCEL/REHEAT to disable the function if necessary.
Preliminary Deactivation of the KEEP WARM Function
To disable the function in the beginning or during the cycle press and
hold down START/KEEP WARM, until the CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator
goes off. To enable the function press and hold down START/KEEP WARM
(the CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator lights up).
REHEAT Function
Reheats cold dishes. To reheat:
1. Fill the bowl with cooked food and place it inside the appliance. Ensure
that the bowl makes full contact with the heating element.
2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
3. Press and hold down the CANCEL/REHEAT button until the audible
signal is heard. The REHEAT indicator on the display and the button
indicator light up. Timer counts the Reheat time. The appliance warms
the food up to 160–175°F (70–80°С), and maintains the temperature
for up to 24 hours. To stop reheating, press and hold down CANCEL/
REHEAT until the corresponding indicators go off.
Non-volatile Memory
The Multicooker is equipped with a non-volatile memory unit. In case of
a power failure of up to 2 hours the device stores the current settings
(including the TIME DELAY and Voice Guide functions) and resumes its
operation without any memory loss.
MASTERCHIEF Function
The Multicooker REDMOND RMC-M150A is equipped with the versatile
function MASTERCHIEF, which makes the options nearly endless. The
function can make up to 10 time and temperature adjustments during
one cycle (except EXPRESS and YOGURT programs). Within 3 minutes
after the cooking cycle is completed the entire sequence of time and
temperature adjustments can be saved to the memory. Use MASTERCHIEF
to create your own programs with unique temperature.
The time of any program can be adjusted between 1 minute and 15 hours
in 1 minute intervals. When the cook time is set to 00 hours 00 minutes,
the appliance either enters standby or KEEP WARM, depending on earlier
settings. The temperature can be adjusted between 95 and 360°F (35 and
180°C) with intervals.
To Adjust Cook Time and Temperature (create a new program)
1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to select a program (except EXPRESS
and YOGURT). Press and hold down START/KEEP WARM. The START/KEEP
WARM and CANCEL/REHEAT button indicators light up. The cycle begins.
2. To disable KEEP WARM in advance, press and hold down the START/
KEEP WARM button (the CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator goes off).
Repress START/KEEP WARM to enable the function if necessary.
3. To adjust the cook time and temperature during the cycle press and
hold down TIME DELAY until an audible signal is heard.
4. The display blinks showing the time remaining before the end of the cycle.
Use "—" to reduce and "+" to increase the time. To switch between minutes
and hours press the HOUR/MIN button (see "To Adjust Cook Time" chapter).
5. To enter temperature adjustment press TIMER/TEMPERATURE. Display
shows the current temperature. Use "—" to reduce and "+" to increase
the temperature.
6. To save the adjustments do not press any button for 10 seconds. The
cycle resumes with the adjusted settings. The digits on the display
stop blinking. The temperature and remaining time are displayed in
turns.
7. To make new time and temperature adjustments repeat steps 2–5.
The program can be adjusted up to 10 times during one cycle.
To Save the Adjusted Program
The appliance can save your adjustments by replacing the old program
with the new one. After the cooking cycle is complete an audible signal
is heard. If during the cycle the program has been adjusted, the timer
starts to count down from 3 minutes (in 1-second increments). Press and
