II. OPERATING THE MULTICOOKER

Before Operating

Place the appliance on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from wallpaper,
any other objects or cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity,
or high temperatures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multicooker
have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be
any obstructions between the heating element and the bowl.
Fill the removable bowl with food and liquid first and then position it
inside the multicooker, to prevent contamination of the cooking
chamber.
Never operate the appliance without the removable bowl in place.
Doing so may cause overheating and lead to malfunction.
Never operate the appliance without food or liquid inside the
removable bowl, to prevent overheating that may cause damage to the
non-stick coating.
In case of any malfunctions do not operate the appliance.
Voice Guide
The Multicooker REDMOND RMC-M150A is equipped with a Voice Guide
function, which talks you through the entire cooking process, providing
with detailed information about the current settings and adjustments. The
function automatically activates after the device is plugged in. Press and
hold down the HOUR/MIN button in standby mode to disable the function
if necessary. Repress and hold the button down to reactivate the function.
To Adjust Cook Time
1. Select the program. Press the ТIMER/TEMPERATURE button repeatedly
to enter cook time adjustment (the TIMER indicator on the display lights
up, the default cook time is displayed, the minute indicator is blinking).
2. Use the HOUR/MIN button to select between hours and minutes (selected
value is blinking). Press "+" to increase and "—" to reduce the time. Press
and hold the corresponding button down to scroll through the digits.

3. When the time is adjusted (display keeps blinking) proceed to the next
step. To clear the settings press the CANCEL/REHEAT button and start
adjusting from the beginning.
Note! When adjusting the time, remember that each program has its own
adjustment range and interval. The cook time of some programs starts to
count down after the appliance reaches its required temperature.
To switch between Fahrenheit / Celsius
Your Multicooker RMC-M150A can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and
from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
1. Press and hold the TIMER/TEMPERATURE button for three seconds in
standby mode. The button indicator lights up. "212" and the °F indicator
are blinking.
2. To switch to Celsius press "—" or "+". "100" and the °C indicator are
blinking.
3. To switch back press "—" or "+".
4. To save the adjustment do not press any button for three seconds.
TIME DELAY Function
The function enables the appliance to start cooking at a specific time.
The program can be delayed from 5 minutes up to 24 hours in 5 minute
intervals.
1. To select and adjust the program. Press TIME DELAY (display shows
blinking minute value).
2. Use the HOUR/MIN button to switch between hour and minute adjustments
(selected value is blinking). Press "+" to increase and "—" to reduce the
time. Press and hold the button down to scroll through the digits.
3. Press and hold down the START/KEEP WARM button. The TIME DELAY
function starts operating (timer stops blinking, the time remaining
before the beginning of selected program starts to count down).
4. To cancel the adjustments press CANCEL/REHEAT and start from the
beginning.
Caution! Avoid using the TIME DELAY function for dairy and other
perishable foods (eggs, milk, cheese, etc.).
