3.04.02 SAFETY AND WARNING NOTICES
CAUTION
The M.blue plus Adjustment Ring emits a
magnetic field. Metallic objects and mag-
netic storage media should be placed at a
sufficient safety distance.
Because of the magnets inside M.blue
plus Instruments, M.blue plus Instruments
must not be used in the vicinity of active
implants, such as cardiac pacemakers.
Furthermore, there is risk of damage to
MRI instruments in their vicinity. Therefore,
M.blue plus Instruments must not be used
in such locations!
CAUTION
It is absolutely essential that only M.blue
plus Instruments are used to determine,
change and monitor the opening pressure
of the gravitational unit of the M.blue. The
opening pressure of the differential pres-
sure unit of the proGAV 2.0 can be deter-
mined, changed and monitored with the
M.blue plus Instruments as described and
also the proGAV 2.0 Tools.

1. Localisation
WARNING
The M.blue plus Compass should be placed
as centrally as possible over the valve, as
otherwise the determined opening pressure
may be incorrect.
NOTE
Possible air pockets in the M.blue plus
Compass do not affect its function.
