2.2.2.2 Electrical installation - AFNOR model
- With lighting option: feed the first mains cable through the bracket arm then connect this cable to
the terminal block
in the N-L-
terminals reserved for lighting

- Feed the second mains cable through the bracket arm then connect this cable to the
terminal block
in the N-L-
terminals reserved for the circuit board

(The two mains cables must come from the same building),
- Feed the synchronisation power cable through the bracket arm then connect this cable to the
circuit board via the terminal block stencilled AF
,

You do not need to observe any correct polarity.
- Attach these cables to the central bracket with cable retainers
,
- Connect the emergency battery cable (if present) to the circuit board
,

- Clean the seal and then apply silicone oil on it,

- Realign the disassembled clock face, then reconnect the ribbon cable
between the circuit
board and the movement
on the disassembled clock face,

- Limit the length of the cable by passing it through the cable clip in order to avoid shading in the
case of the lighting option (contact of the cable with the dial once the clock is closed),
- Close the clock by repositioning the disassembled clock face in its original position,
- Tighten the four cover screws (1,2 Nm) on the newly remounted clock face,
- Replace and tighten the air inlet screw (15 Nm) on the underside of the bracket arm.
