3 - INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE
3.1 - INSPECTING AND HANDLING THE UNIT
At delivery, the package should be checked and any dam-age should be reported immediately to the carrier
claims agent.
When handling the unit, take into account the following:
a. Fragile, handle the unit with care.
b. Choose on before hand the path along which the unit is to be brought in.
c. Move this unit as originally package as possible.
d. When lifting the unit, always use protectors to prevent belt damage and pay attention to the
position of the unit's centre of gravity.
3.2 - ASSEMBLING THE REMOTE CONTROL SUPPORT
The appliance is equipped with a remote control (C) to control all of its functions.
The explanation of the keys functions, the instruction for the correct insertion of the batteries (D) and the
information on how to keep and store the remote control are described in the "use and maintenance" manual
annexed to the product.
When the remote control is not in use, it is possible to fix the specific support (E) to a wall to safely place it
there.
To fix the support to a wall (figure 3):
a. Find where you want to position the support.
b. Lean the support on the wall and mark the two drilling points.
c. Perform two holes suitable for wall plugs.
d. Insert wall plugs (R) (not supplied) in the holes
e. Fix the support (E) by tightening the screws (Q), but not excessively.
NOTE:
To fix the support on a wooden wall, do not use wall plugs.
WARNINGS
•
Never throw or beat the controller.
•
Before installation, operate the remote controller to determine its location in a recep-
tion range.
•
Keep the remote controller at least 1m apart from the nearest TV set or stereo equip-
ment. (it is necessary to prevent image disturbances or noise interferences.)
•
Do not install the remote controller in a place ex-posed to direct sunlight or close to
a heating source, such as a stove.
•
Note that the positive and negative poles are right positions when loading batteries.
