Service
Filter replacement
The fi ne fi lter should be replaced at least once a
year. HEPA fi lters should be replaced after every
300 hours of operation. Wear a dust mask when
replacing the fi lters. Only use original fi lters.
Release and lift off the lid. To prevent the escape
of dust, place a plastic sack over the cyclone and
remove the fi lter cartridge. Clean the fi lter plate.
Then fi t the new fi lter. - CAUTION! Do not re-use
the main fi lter once it has been removed from the
machine.
The HEPA fi lter is removed by opening the lid and
loosening the cartridge. By gently tilting the loo-
sened motor head away from the cyclone, lateral
pressure is exerted on the HEPA fi lter cartridge se-
cured to the motor head. If necessary, repeat this
procedure until the HEPA fi lter cartridge falls into
the fi ne fi lter cartridge. The HEPA fi lter and fi ne
fi lter can then be disposed of, as described (see
diagram also), virtually dust-free. The new fi lter
cartridge is placed in the fi ne fi lter and sealed by
carefully attaching the lid.
Caution
The manufacturer or a trained person must carry
out an inspection at least annually to check, for
example, for damage to the fi lters, the air-tightness
of the dust extraction machine and the functioning
of the control unit.
The vacuum producer has an extremely long ser-
vice life and requires no maintenance. The seals
should be inspected after approximately 1,000
hours of operation. These parts must be replaced
if wear is detected.
