Description

The extractors operate with negative pressure.
Separation of the coarse particles takes place in a
cyclone, and separation of the fi ne dust takes place
in the fi lter unit.
The material is separated into a container that is at-
tached directly to the cyclone. The fi lter is cleaned
using reverse pulse.
The material that has been vacuumed up and fi ltered
is collected in a container with a plastic sack insert,
(part no. 42285H). The container can easily be de-
tached from the machine by opening the fasteners,
thus making it easy for the material to be disposed of.
Carefully remove the full sack away from the edge of
the bin and seal it tight immediately. Then place a new
plastic sack in the bin, and carefully pass the open
end back over the edge of the bin, ensuring that no
damage is caused, and such that no folds are visible.

Operation

Connect to a power source in accordance with the
supply voltage specifi ed on the rating plate of the
machine.
The fi lters should be cleaned once or twice a day if
the machine is operated on a daily basis, and most
defi nitely if the pressure gauge needle is in the red
zone. To clean the fi lter:
1.
The unit must be in operation to perform fi lter
cleaning.
2. Disconnect the suction hose from the intake
port.
3. Press the plastic cage against the black stop
head on the exhaust channel so that maximum
pressure is created in the cyclone.
4. Open the fl ap on the side 3 to 6 times. The air
will rush through the fl ap opening and clean
the fi lter unit by means of reverse pulse.
5. Open the hose again and reconnect the suc-
tion nozzle.
6. If the pressure gauge needle is back in the
green zone, work can continue. If it is still in
the red zone, the cleaning process must be
repeated.

When the machine is functioning properly, the control
unit (negative pressure manometer) will indicate ap-
proximately 24 kPa with a closed suction opening and
approximately 8 kPa with a freely-suctioning hose (Ø
38 mm and l = 7 m).
the appropriate protective equipment.Do not ope-
rate without the complete fi ltration system in place.
Some operations (i.e. those that restrict air fl ow) can
cause the pressure gauge to show
a high reading (the needle is in the
red zone). The machine should
never be operated permanently
when the meter is in the red zone,
as this poses a risk of overheating.
Transition from the green zone to
the red zone occurs at 15.5 kPa.
The container underneath the cyclone should be
emptied when about 2/3 full or max. 20 kg.

CAUTION! This machine contains
hazardous dust. Emptying and any
maintenance operations, including
the removal of dust collection con-
tainers, may only be carried out by
specialist personnel who must wear
