12. Operation

a) Setting the Operating Mode
The effect light can be controlled with the integrated controller or with an external DMX controller. Additionally, it can
be used as a master device with integrated controller to control other connected GM-313 battery LED-spots synchro-
nously in master-slave operation, or as slave device via the controller of another GM-313 battery LED-spot.
The DMX signal takes precedence. Once the corresponding signal is recognised, the device will switch to
DMX mode.
If you want to operate the GM-313 battery LED-spot as a stand-alone device in sound-to-light, colour,
automatic or fade mode, you need to choose the setting Master (NASt) at the device for this. On this, see
the item "master mode". This is not possible in the setting Slave (SLAu). The device switches to standby
mode here (display Stby).
Use the LED display and function buttons MENU, DOWN, UP and ENTER to set the operating modes.
• Push the button MENU repeatedly until the desired mode has been selected.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• Select the desired option (if present) with the UP and DOWN buttons.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
The saved setting is accepted by the device approx. 15 seconds after the ENTER button is pushed. The
effect light is off during this time.
• The button MENU can be pushed at any time in order to leave the setting mode.
