Carefully remove the rechargeable battery
compartment cover. Ensure that you do not
damage the wiring. Take out the used or
exhausted rechargeable battery
Insert a Ni-MH, AA, 1.2 V
chargeable battery (included in delivery) into
the rechargeable battery compartment
Note: Ensure correct polarity. This is indicated
in the rechargeable battery compartment
Place the cover back onto the rechargeable
battery compartment

Artificial sources of light such as street light-
ing or similar are making the Photosensor
believe it is still daylight.

shielded from artificial sources of light.

The rechargeable battery is flat or there is
not enough daylight to recharge the
rechargeable battery.
Replace the rechargeable battery or place
the product in a sunnier position.

Electrostatic discharge may possibly cause dis-
turbances to the product. If such disturbances
occur, remove the rechargeable battery for a
few seconds and then re-insert it (see "Replac-
ing the rechargeable battery").

Cleaning and care

Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar.
This would cause damage to the product.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the
product.
Alternatively, a feather duster can be used
for cleaning the decora tion with light bar
If the product is more severely soiled, you
may have to use a slightly damp cloth and
a mild detergent.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
