5.3. Removing the spike plate (A3004 /
A3064 only)
Warning !
Danger of injury. The spikes of the plate have
sharp edges. Wear protective gloves.
• Unscrew the black knurled screw.
• Remove the honeycomb plate from the end piece
holder plate.
5.4. Removing the knife covering plate
(not for B2215)
• Wear protective gloves with wrist protection.
• Tilt the end piece holder up.
• Place a suitable pen or screwdriver in the recess of
the knife covering plate.
• Unscrew the knife covering plate by turning
clockwise.

5.5. Removing the end piece holder plate

Important !
For safety reasons the end piece holder plate
may be removed only when the carriage has
been removed.
• Tip the end piece holder up.
• Press the snap holder of the end piece holder pla-
te together.
• Pull off the end piece holder plate.

5.6. Bottom plate

The slicing machines have been fitted with a remo-
vable bottom plate, which can be removed from
the machine for cleaning by pulling it towards the
operator.

5.7. Cleaning the machine

Clean removable and non-removable parts accor-
ding to the cleaning schedule.
Warning !
Danger of injury ! Wear protective gloves !
Important !
Do not place the parts on top of each other.
Risk of damage.
Use a linen cloth to carefully clean the blade on the
inside and outside. Clean all surfaces of the machi-
ne.

5.8. Blade and blade ring cleaning

WARNING!
The blade is sharp!
Only clean it when the carriage is tilted out and
the limit stop is closed.
• Push a dampened cleaning cloth between blade
and blade protection ring from the front.
• Using both hands, pull the cleaning cloth against
the blade guard ring once or twice.
• Press a damp cloth against the blade surface and
wipe off the blade slowly from the centre to the
edges.
• Clean the rear side of the blade in the same way.
• Rub the blade dry with a clean cloth in a similar
fashion.
Warning !
Hold the tilted carriage when cleaning the car-
riage
profile. The carriage may drop back down.
A3004 / A3064 only
Clean the knife covering plate, the bottom plate
and the honeycomb plate.
The spikes of the honeycomb plate can be cleaned
best with a brush under running water.

5.9. Assembly

• Put on the blade cover plate and screw the knob
on the motor body into the blade cover plate.
• Put in the last slice clamp plate into the last slice
clamp.
• Put carriage into the carriage base.
• Push down the carriage firmly with both hands.
• Tighten the knob on the base of the carriage.
• Lower the blade scraper into the swallow-tail gui-
de and carefully press it down.

Maintenance

6.1. Lubrication

Warning !
Rotating blade ! May sever fingers.
Switch off the machine prior to servicing.
Important !
Only use oils released by us for lubrication.
