D. Disconnecting the appliance
You can disconnect the appliance by unplugging it or by
using a double-pole switch in the socket.
E. Temperature adjustment
To adjust the inside temperature of the refrigerator,
operate the thermostat (located at the top). The
thermostat will maintain the temperature within a set
range according to the selected position.
The thermostat mark indicates its position, not its
temperature.
Positions "0" to "7": the higher the figure, the lower the
temperature.
Positions "3" and "4" are most economical.
Note: high ambient temperatures (on hot summer days,
for example) and a cold setting on the temperature
regulator (position 7) can cause the compressor to
operate continuously.
Reason:
When the ambient temperature is high, the compressor
has to operate continuously to maintain a low
temperature inside the appliance.
