23. Troubleshooting
Important note in the case of repairs:
For return delivery of the device for repair, please ensure for safety reasons that it is free of oil and fuel when it is sent to
the service centre.

Remedy
Have the brake replaced
Tighten fixing nut; right-hand thread (90Nm)
Sharpen saw blade by a specialist
Replace saw blade
Connect the spark plug cable securely to the
spark plug
Fill with clean, fresh petrol
Move the throttle lever to the choke position
during a cold start
Clean the fuel line
Clean the spark plug, set the gap or replace
spark plug
Wait a few minutes before restarting, but do not
allow the engine to prime
The oil monitor prevents the engine from starting
if the oil level is too low: Check the oil level
Connect and fasten the spark plug cable
Turn the choke lever to OFF
Clean the fuel line and fill the tank with clean,
fresh petrol
Clean the ventilation
Clean or replace the air filter
Contact service
Fill crankcase with correct oil.
Clean the air filter
Remove and clean the housing.
Contact service.
Check mains fuse
Replace the extension lead
Have this checked by an electrician

Change direction of rotation with phase inverter
