NOTE: As soon as you verify that the generator cannot cope with a load or
does not accept it, do not insist. Continuous overloads can negatively affect the
generator.
Remember that many equipment needs an extra power consumption to start.
Devices that has an electric motor (compressors, water pumps, saws, grinders or
others) requires up to 3 times more power during the starting. For example, a
1000W water pump requires 3000W to start, so that we would need a generator
not less than 3000W.
6.3 Changing fuel from propane to gasoline (or the reverse)
Changing the fuel supply from gasoline to propane (or the reverse) can be carried
out with the engine running, as long as no equipment is connected.
1. Disconnect the equipment.
2. Check that the desired fuel is available.
3. Quickly and non-stop turn the fuel selection lever to the "OFF" position until the
desired fuel is reached.
NOTE: If you do this step slowly, the generator may stop when going through
the "OFF" position.
6.4 Alarm system due to lack of oil
This alarm system is designed to avoid damage by insufficient oil in the engine.
Before the oil level is below of the minimum safety limit, the alarm system will
automatically stop the engine.
NOTE: Protection due to lack of oil must be considered an extra security. The
user is entirely responsible for checking the oil level before each use, as indicated
and recommended in the manual. The probability of the alarm system fail is very
low, but if the checking also fails, the damage on the engine will be very
significant. Thus, unique and exclusively, the user is responsible for any damage
due to lack of oil. This kind of damage is not covered by the warranty.
Please, remember that this alarm system is activated in case of a critical level, it is
not an indicator of lack of oil.
NOTE: This alarm system only works when the level of oil is not enough, no
protecting in case of an inadequate oil or an oil in poor condition.
