Configuration and operation
5.1
Signal elements
The 3 LEDs on the device control panel show the different operating states. The LEDs can display the following states:
LED illuminated
Operating status
LED status
Start
Feed-in start
Feed-in mode with re-
duced power
Non-grid feed mode
Fault

Accessories
6.1
Inverter off
When using suitable KACO inverters, the shutdown can be carried out via the grid separation relay integrated into the
inverters and the "Inverter OFF" digital output instead of via interface switch.
Information about the "Inverter off" function: See manual under
"string inverter" category.

Maintenance and troubleshooting
NOTE
Log all maintenance activities in the "Service" menu item: "Service Log" (exception: "user" interface). Config-
uration is carried out via the web interface.
7.1
Visual inspection by the operator
1 Inspect the product and cables for visible external damage and note the operating status display, where applicable.
2 Notify the installer if there is any damage.

LED flashing
Description
The green „Operating" lights up when AC and DC voltage is present
and the web server is accessible at the same time.
If the LED flashes, the web server is not yet accessible. This process
may take several minutes. After flashing, the device is ready for power
supply.
If the LED continues to flash for more than 10 minutes, internal com-
munication is disrupted.
The green „Operating" LED is lit.
The green „Feed-in" LED is illuminated after the country-specific
waiting period*.
The device feeds into the grid.
You can hear the circuit-breaker / interface switch switch on.
NOTE: Both LEDs are also illuminated in Q on Demand operation
mode.
The green „Operating" LED is illuminated.
The green LED „Feed" is flashing because one of the modes: internal
power reduction, external power reduction, external reactive power
request or standalone mode is active.
The device feeds into the grid.
You can hear the circuit-breaker / interface switch switch on.
The green LED „Operating" LED is lit.
None of the LEDs is illuminated or the red „Fault" LED is illuminated.
Fault in the AC/DC source
Conditional special cases:
ž
There is no DC voltage present (e.g. DC isolator switch open) (e.g.
DC isolator switch open)
ž
DC voltage too low (<starting voltage)
DC voltage is present (>starting voltage), but communications connec-
tion between the front end (operating unit) and back end (control
unit) is faulty, or interrupted.
